The trustees are focusing on designing and building a new gallery. In May 2009 we raised £20,000 from several sources to take us through an initial design phase. This work will be complete by the end of 2009, and includes architectural work and gaining full planning permission.
In Winter 2009/10 the trustees will set about raising the estimated £300,000 required for the gallery building project. We will be approaching agencies and the Lottery Fund, but we still need the help of individual and company supporters.
There are several ways in which you can help. You may want to get involved with fund-raising and help the Trust raise the £15,000 we need in match funding.
Or you may be able to donate something to us. You can become a Friend, or simply purchase a Foundation Brick. These will be wooden blocks set into the wall of the gallery, with your name on. A permanent reminder of your generosity to this important arts project. Just contact the Secretary, or click here
You may also choose to leave us a bequest in your will. This is simply done, and will you will be commemorated in the Gallery. See here for details of how to leave a bequest.
The Trustees gratefully acknowledge the support of these organisations in the design phase of the building of the gallery:
This project is being part-funded by the Scottish Government and the European Community (Cairngorms Local Action Group) LEADER 2007-13 Programme.
